INGREDIENTS FOR 4 PEOPLE

-500 ml milk

-150gr sugar

-50gr flour

-6 eggs

-1 vanilla pod

 

PREPARATION

- Open the vanilla pod in two halves and extract the seeds.

- Place the pod in the milk and boil it

- Put the yolks and sugar in a bowl and add the sieved flour, beat until obtaining a frothy and whitish cream, then add the vanilla seeds.

- Pour the hot milk in a dribble, while continuing to stir.

- Place on the hob and bring to the boil while continuing to stir, lower the heat a little and let it simmer for 3 or 4 minutes.

- Pour it into a bowl to stop cooking, and if not using it right away cover it with kitchen film allowing it to stick to the cream, to prevent formation of the unpleasant surface film.
