Chicken Tagine with plums

PRODUCTS USED FOR THIS RECIPE
INGREDIENTS FOR 4 PEOPLE
500gr chicken breast
50gr pitted dry plums
onion
garlic
1 small carrot
olive oil
spices: cinnamon, saffron, ginger
salt and pepper
PREPARATION
- Sauté the garlic, onion and carrots. Dice the chicken and brown it for a few minutes with the spices. Add water to cover the chicken and cook in the covered pot for about 50 minutes.
- Soak the plums in water for 50 minutes. When the chicken is done, open the pot and add the drained plums. Cook for a few more minutes in the open pot.
- Serve hot with couscous or pilaf rice.
